Design & Electrical Engineering

Licensed engineers delivering SLDs, schematics, GA drawings and protection studies.

Overview

Our in-house engineering team translates project briefs into manufacturing-ready documentation. We deliver complete electrical design packages — load schedules, single-line diagrams, control schematics, GA drawings, BOMs, and protection coordination studies — under one accountable design engineer.

01 · Service

Engineering with construction in mind

Our design engineers sit metres from the production floor. That feedback loop is why our schematics translate cleanly into wired terminations: we know how a leading-edge MCCB lands physically, where the gland plate clearance gets tight, and how a marshalling layout affects test access. The drawings reflect what gets built.

Studies that drive decisions

We run protection coordination, arc-flash and load-flow studies as part of design — not bolted on at handover. That means breaker settings arrive validated, PPE category labels are real, and your operations team knows the system's behaviour before commissioning week.

FAQ

Design & Electrical Engineering — questions answered

Yes. Single-point engineering responsibility is one of BASE's core advantages. The same engineer who sizes the busbar reviews the schematic, releases the GA, and answers the production floor's RFIs.

Yes, using ETAP and SKM PowerTools. We deliver TCC curves, settings tables, and discrimination reports with each design, and re-issue after any major network change.

Our senior electrical engineers hold RPEQ (Queensland) and NER (National Engineers Register) registration. Signed-off drawings carry both registration numbers.
